Ice beer mugs and Cosmo martini glasses helped round out this wedding photograph of the entire bridal party – including the bride herself - getting set for a good time.


Former Toronto Maple Leafs ice hockey star and team strongman, Tie Domi (center) with two friends ready to celebrate his 40th birthday with a suitably-decorated ice rink table designed to hold cocktail glasses.

   
A trade show in Columbus, OH, required an ice snow plow each of three days. Paul Ahrens, Precise Ice delivered and set up the sculpture which was used to dispense bottled water.


Note the vertical seam on the letter M. The photograph was taken at breakdown, long after the event had finished. Quality fusion work by Paul Ahrens, Precise Ice, Columbus, OH who favors vertical over horizontal seams.

   
Both the 36 in dish and the 18 in diameter bowl on top, were hand spun on an 18 in diameter deep dish pizza pan with a 1/2 in bolt through the center. The result, an attractive food presentation piece. The design was created by Paul Ahrens, Precise Ice, Columbus, OH. A streamlined reindeer and sleigh by Edwin Hutchison, Ice Age Ice Sculptures, Greenville, SC. It was a two dimension piece which worked well at this pre-Christmas event.

 

A couple of designs caught the eye at an MPI Gala event in Toronto, a sharp snow flake crystal ice bar and a reverse candle globe
table centerpiece. Both designs were created by Iceculture, Hensall, Canada.
 



      
From Terry Gouley, Ice Masters, Midland, TX comes this photograph of the ice display he produced for the annual debutantes ball at the Odessa Country Club. Debutantes and their escorts entered by way of an aisle formed by vases on each side and then walked around the diamond suspended on ice crystals.

   
Kids of all ages flock to the building block section at winter events. Small 11lb, compressed ice blocks are cut in half and set in piles. Then the kids are then let loose to create their own designs. This particular event was in Hanover, Ontario during the Olympic torch run across Canada.

Mr Iceman aka Jack Stensland, Oslo, Norway set this snowman up at his home in the city for Christmas.





           
Hannahs Winter Wonderland ice bar provided an attractive touch to a Bat Mitzvah in Ottawa, Canada.

 
This 12 ft long ice train was built by eight students in the Odessa College Culinary Arts Buffet Theory class. None had any experience of ice carving and the project took eight hours to complete.



The World Cup of Soccer takes place in South Africa this summer and Ice Art, Cape Town, South Africa was commissioned to produce sculptures for the promotional events leading up to the games.  
 

Ice Zakumi, the mascot was created as an ice portrait for the occasion together with a number of soccer ball sculptures. The iconic Table Mountain was also produced in ice.
